HHSRS Assessment
The housing health and safety rating system ( HHSRS ) is a risk-based evaluation tool to help local authorities identify and protect against potential risks and hazards to health and safety from any deficiencies identified in dwellings.

There are 29 hazards that will be rated in different depending on how severe they are.

These 29 hazards will include :
- Damp and mold
- Excess cold and heat
- Asbestos
- Carbon monoxide

The HHSRS provides a way that hazards can be assessed and the best way of dealing with them identified. If a hazard is a serious and immediate risk to a person's health and safety, this is known as a Category 1 hazard. If a hazard is less serious or less urgent, this is known as a Category 2 hazard.

During our visits we will identify any issues or hazards that might occur and give you an action plan of actions that should be taken to improve them.

This report can be be required for various reasons such as: a re-mortgage, Insurance claim or requested by the local authority.
